US punk rock band Die Tired has released their latest single, “Better Off Alive,” today, March 25th, as part of their effort to bring awareness to mental health and suicide. Speaking to The Lions Ground Entertainment Group, the band members explained the powerful message behind their song and their focus on supporting military service members who face PTSD, depression, and suicide.

Bassist Jim Lee stated, “Better Off Alive is about raising awareness of these serious concerns in our society and highlighting the available resources in our communities to those in need.” Singer/guitarist Matt DeAngelis added that the video’s emphasis on military service members “hits close to home.” He explained, “With one of our band members being a veteran, we found it especially important to shine a light on issues with PTSD, depression, and suicide in our military communities.” The song features powerful riffs, big melodic hooks, and driving drum and bass, showcasing Die Tired’s growth in songwriting and production.

The Lions Ground Entertainment Group praised the band’s effort, saying, “We were impressed with the strong and original lyrics in ‘Better Off Alive,’ which delivered a powerful message about mental health and suicide. The instrumentation was also solid, which added to the overall impact of the song. It’s clear that Die Tired has a high commercial potential, and we can see this song appealing to a broad audience.”
